Each year, we honor a local citizen whose life has been affected by a developmental disability and has made a positive difference in the lives of others in our community. Once again, we are reaching out to the community to help us find the person who will receive this award at our Annual Meeting in September.

Sandra Garrity was a shining example of the success a developmentally disabled person could achieve if respected and given the opportunity to live and work as a valued member of the community. This award is given in her memory each year to someone who has made a difference in the life of an individual or individuals touched by a developmental disability.
