Gateways and PLUS Seek Nominations for Sandy Garrity Award


June 4, 2008 - Nashua, NH -- Gateways Community Services and The PLUS Company are requesting nominations for the Sandy Garrity Award, which honors those who have made a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.  Each September, the two organizations present the award at their annual meeting and honor the individual for their achievements.

Sandy Garrity was a shining example of an individual with a developmental disability.  Her many achievements made her a valued member of the community throughout her life.  Ms. Garrity died in 2005, but left lasting memories for those her knew her and the work she did in the community.
