Gateways Community Services Hosts Autism 9-1-1 Registration In Cooperation With Hudson Police Department
For Immediate Release -- May 13, 2008 - Gateways Community Services, formerly Area Agency of Greater Nashua, is hosting an Autism 9-1-1 Registration Event in cooperation with the Hudson Police Department on Tuesday, May 27th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Autism 9-1-1 Registration will take place at the Hudson Police Department at 1 Constitution Drive, off Rte. 111, in Hudson.
The Autism 9-1-1 Registration goals are to educate and train first responders to recognize and better understand behaviors of individuals diagnosed with autism, as well as register children and their families with the NH 9-1-1 system so that they will be recognized by trained officers within their local police department.
