Family Support :: Parent-to-Parent Network

Gateways Community Services' Parent-to-Parent Network offers parents the opportunity to connect with other parents for support, information, and understanding through a one-on-one match. Our supporting parents are volunteer "veteran" parents, who have successfully survived many of the same daily challenges and joys that you face.

Learning that your child has a disability or special medical needs may be a traumatic experience. As a parent, you may have questions and concerns about dealing with your child's needs and your own feelings. You are not alone. We have been there. Individualized support from another parent, who has had similar feelings and experiences, can be helpful in coping with new and challenging situations.

We are not counselors or therapists. We are friends who give moral support and encourage parents to feel hopeful and optimistic about the future.

If you would like personal contact from a Supporting Parent, please call Parent to Parent of Greater Nashua at (603) 459-2751. A Supporting Parent, who has a child with similar needs, will contact you as soon as a match has been made. All information will be kept confidential. There is no cost for this service.
